| Is It Cold Enough (Twisting)
he's strung up in the shadows and twisting in the night
all broken up because his world is leaving him
as he clutches as his belt doubled over in the poet's stance
well push aside the clouds and let some sunshine fall
all everyone's tired of the rain, someone dies
and the newspapers cover the homeless and those without a chance
is it cold enough?
couldn't I be you?
I could just imagine what a prayer could do
is it cold enough?
foolish as unfaithful that I lead a worthless life
tempted to explain what each story is about
how shortly it's important
but it doesn't last much longer than a snapshot sometimes
how to lure a victim with some promise of reward
so sorry but you failed to measure up somehow
still there's what I dream of depending on pity as I walk to no where good
is it cold enough?
is it cold enough?
One step away is all there is
I cannot say it still is his
trapped for all my wishing that this prison wasn't so
stripped of hope for wisdom and cast aside like dust
considered less a man than his father was and wasting your time
I only got the feeling disapointment can cure
all the misery my companions endure
under holy lightbulbs the students pretend to be right
is it cold enough?
couldn't I be you?
I could just imagine what a prayer could do
is it cold enough?
is it cold enough?
is it cold enough?
is it cold enough?
is it cold enough?
